Information about cookies
Due to the entry into force of the relevant amendment to the Information Society Services Act (LSSICE) established by Royal Decree-Law 13/2012, it is mandatory to obtain the express consent of the user of all websites that use dispensable cookies before they browse them.
What are cookies?
Cookies and other similar technologies such as local shared objects, flash cookies or pixels, are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to ensure the correct operation of the site.
Through the use of these devices, the web server is allowed to remember some data concerning the user, such as their preferences for viewing the pages of that server, name and password, products of most interest to them, etc. Cookies do not damage the browsing device, but rather make it easier to use.
Cookies affected by the regulations and exempt cookies
According to the EU directive, the cookies that require the informed consent of the user are analytical cookies and advertising and affiliation cookies, with those of a technical nature and those necessary for the operation of the website or the provision of services expressly requested by the user being exempt.
Types of cookies
By purpose
- Technical and functional cookies: those that allow the user to browse a website, platform or application and to use the different options or services that exist on it.
- Analytical cookies: those that allow the party responsible for them to monitor and analyse the behaviour of the users of the websites to which they are linked. The information collected through this type of cookie is used to measure the activity of the websites, application or platform and to create browsing profiles of the users of said sites, applications and platforms, in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of the usage data made by users of the service.
- Advertising cookies: those that allow the management, in the most efficient way possible, of the advertising spaces that, where appropriate, the editor has included on a website, application or platform from which it provides the requested service, based on criteria such as the edited content or the frequency with which the ads are displayed.
- Behavioural advertising cookies: these collect information about the user's preferences and personal choices (retargeting) to allow the management, in the most efficient way possible, of the advertising spaces that, where appropriate, the editor has included on a website, application or platform from which it provides the requested service.
- Social cookies: these are set by social media platforms on the services to allow you to share content with your friends and networks. Social media platforms have the ability to track your online activity outside the Services. This may affect the content and messages you see on other services you visit.
- Affiliate cookies: these allow visits coming from other websites, with which the website establishes an affiliation contract (affiliation companies), to be tracked.
- Security cookies: these store encrypted information to prevent the data stored in them from being vulnerable to malicious attacks by third parties.
By ownership
- First-party cookies: those that are sent to the user's terminal device from a computer or domain managed by the editor itself and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
- Third-party cookies: those that are sent to the user's terminal device from a computer or domain that is not managed by the editor, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.
By retention period
- Session cookies: a type of cookie designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website.
- Persistent cookies: a type of cookie in which the data remains stored in the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the party responsible for the cookie, which can range from a few minutes to several years.
Cookies used on this website
This website loads its tags through Google Tag Manager. Non-essential tags, such as analytics, are governed by Google Consent Mode: they stay disabled until you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time from the "Manage cookies" option in the footer. The specific cookies and storage used are:
| Cookie / storage | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| bleta-consent | Bleta (first-party) | Remembers your cookie choices so the banner is not shown again. | Necessary (no consent required) | Persistent, until you clear it |
| _ga | Google Analytics (Google) | Distinguishes users to measure how the website is used. | Analytics (loads only with your consent) | Up to 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics (Google) | Keeps the session state for audience measurement. | Analytics (loads only with your consent) | Up to 2 years |
| _clck | Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) | Keeps a Clarity user ID and preferences. | Analytics (loads only with your consent) | Up to 1 year |

| CLID | Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) | Identifies the browser the first time Clarity loads. | Analytics (loads only with your consent) | Up to 1 year |
No advertising cookies are active on this website at present. The cookie banner already includes an advertising category so that, if an advertising tag is added in the future, it will only load with your consent and will be listed in the table above.
